Jett Has A Hairy History

Since the day he was born I would always spike his hair and call him my "Crazy hair boy" He sure does live up to his name. That sweet crazy hair brings a smile to my heart EVERY time I look at it. We love our blonde baby boy. (this is only half of the crazy hair pictures that I have)

Baby It's Cold Outside....

It's All Fun And Games Until

While I was cooking dinner Jett was crawling around. He is getting pretty good at crawling over obstacles. He got inside this chair and thought it was pretty dandy....until he found out that he wasn't sure how to get out. He got real mad when I chose to capture the moment on film rather than rescue him.

I did rescue him. No less than five minutes had gone by and he was in the same predicament. I rescued him again.

I love this, he is thinking "she really is going to just take a picture" He looks so defeated. Poor baby;)

Teach By Example

This weekend when Jett and I were in Show Low my mom was asking Keisha and I about her lesson. I grabbed the scriptures to make a reference and within a couple minutes Cadence, Drake and Cannen went in the library and found scriptures of their own and sat with us with their books open.

Two Is A Party DAD?!

Tonight Justin was showering and I was trying to put Jett's jammies on. He was having none of me. He wanted Justin and was wiggling and whining to get out of my arms. So I let him down and I was folding some laundry and I let him play. It took him a flat 3 seconds to get to the shower. When I turned around I just saw these little feet at the bottom of the shower curtain. He was giggling, screaming and squealing. When I would call his name he was tear back the curtain smile and get back to it He thought Dad was the coolest for letting him play in the shower with him. He got all wet in the process. It was too cute.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Grilling

Last night while Justin was grilling up some Salmon Jett was yelling at him through the glass door. Justin played back and Jett just thought this was the funniest thing. He would giggle so hard he would almost lose his balance.

Reunited and It Felt SO GOOD

Last Friday we went back to the valley so Geoff and Justin could go to the golf tournament they go to every year. Jett and I went along for the ride even though it was a short trip. Thursday when we got there we ate at Famous Dave's with our favorite Seymore Family. Friday morning Jett and I went and fixed a tire, had a really good visit with my old boss Brent, walked every isle of Costo, April did my hair while Jett played with Paxton and Gatlin, we went to the mall and then ate again with our favorite Seymore Family. It felt like no time had passed and we were really sad to leave. While Jett and I were at Costco we ran into Cindy Atkin from our Stone Creek ward and she told us that everyone would be a Joe's Farm Grill for dinner to celebrate Matt Rosen's birthday. So on our way out of town we stopped by and visited everyone. It was so good to see them. As we drove away I got a little emotional and both Justin and I were quiet for some time. We really miss our "valley life" We hope we don't ever lose touch with the sweet relationships we built while we were there. Maybe someday soon we will end up back there but for now Silver City is where we are, and we love it here too!

And We're Jammin'

I LOVE strawberries, if they are in season you will most likely find them in my fridge. This week they were on sale, so on Friday Jett and I made Jam. Jett takes after Justin on the strawberries those are the faces he made right after he spit the strawberries out of his mouth. MMM I love fresh strawberries, COME ON SPRING!

Clown Faces

I know I already have a post like this. But seriously? Can you get enough of this scrunch face. We sure can't. But, is it possible for this much spunky attitude to be inside of that tiny sweet body? Sometimes we wonder where he came from then we think "Oh Yeah, us?!"

We've got ears....say Cheers!

Jett really doesn't pay that much attention to TV, but lately Mickey Mouse Clubhouse steals his attention and does not give it back. He really likes the end of the show, he always does his little bounce when they start to sing "hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog". And do I appreciate Mickey's babysitting services while I get a little bit of home/house work done. YOU BETCHYA! It's so funny to watch him. AND...I do try to pull him away from the TV but he loves the doors on the entertainment center. He will just hang onto that knob with one hand and play with a toy with the other. He is gettting so entertaining. We are really enjoying this stage.

Do The Math

Let me tell you, we have a trooper on our hands. If only he could decide what he wanted his life would be a whole lot easier. Does he want on my lap or off my lap, binky or no binky, drink or no drink, or food or no food, nap or no nap. Get the point? I have heard a constant wine for almost a week now, he follows me into every room and has been doing a lot of cuddling. So it makes up for the wine.  The poor boy is just confused. But do you blame him, we don't! He is bustin' four teeth at once. They are so close, he is almost the champ and we are cheering him on every step of the way.

Side note: Yes this picture was for real like wresting a tiger in the wild. It took both of us and I'm pretty sure we were all three sweating when I realized we got a keeper.
