BUSTED!!

Jett found a crayon while I was cooking dinner and Justin was grilling. So as soon as we found it, I gave Jett a little piece of Magic eraser and made him scrub the area that he colored. I was thinking, "Yeah this is awesome discipline!" well....not really now he walks around wiping all the walls down with whatever wipe he can find saying "scrub, scrub, scrub!" I guess my discipline was a little to much fun;)

Jetts Happy Place

Penny Park! Jett loves going here, we go almost every day. Although the other day we went home because we didn't have his hat. Yep, he wanted to go home because we forgot his hat!

Last Day of School

We just dropped Jett off for his last day of school! He is only there for two hours for their little party. We are so lucky to have him in that place. They are so good to him, we are so grateful to Elaine and Adriana. We have come so far since the first day I dropped Jett off in the fall. When I left I would leave Jett screaming bloody murder reaching frantically for me. As soon as I walked out I would be balling my eyes out and trying to clear the tears enough just to get out of the parking lot. And now as you can see this morning he could run up that ramp fast enough. We are lucky now to even have him acknowledge us leaving. He loves it there and learns so much from them.

My Favorite Night of the Year!

If you know me at all you know that something pretty serious has to happen for me to miss a light parade. Man, it's my favorite night of the whole year. Hot cocoa, blankets, boots, gloves, Christmas...it's the best. After all the Show Low light parade in 2004 was the first time Justin told me he loved me, AWWW so cute I know! Here we are all these years later with our Jett man. Jett loved it, when it started he sat on Dad's lap and didn't move until it was over. I could not get his attention for a picture. He was NOT going to take his eyes off all the lights. We met our friends Cameron and Marquette there. We always have a good time with them. It was a fun fun night.

Thanksgiving!

Man, November was a bad month for pictures. It was busy, we were deep into the semester. We made a quick trip to Show Low for Thanksgiving and these were all the pictures I got. Bummer. But trust me, the holiday was good. We had fun times in Show Low. We rushed back to Silver with Eben in tote and spent time with the Josh and family before they went back home. Good times!!

Happy Halloween!

We had fun with Jett this year for Halloween. I am a boring mom, I don't care for store bought costumes. I like the homemade creative ones, that's what I had growing up. I just like them alot more! So we made Jett a mummy costume. It was easy but I procrastinated and he was just a top half mummy. But still he was the cutest mummy his mommy had ever seen! We aren't real big pumpkin carvers so we just got one Jett size pumpkin and did that for Halloween for family home evening. Jett did NOT like the goo and the seeds. He would NOT touch it. We all got a good laugh out of it, even Jett did. At first Jett didn't care much for his finished pumpkin but later that night he asked to be put up on the chair and he just sat there forever and stared at it. It was pretty cute. Halloween night we went to the ward trunk or treat. Jett didn't get to much candy but he sure had fun!

My boys...

We were headed off to church this week and these two looked way to studly not to take a picture. I love them with my whole heart. They both make me so happy. I really like where we are in life right now. Being in school and busy with callings and the stress of it all can get overwhelming. But I know for a fact this is where Heavenly Father wants us to be right now. That little fact brings me so much peace. It makes it easier and bearable and somehow we always have time together. We are just doing good, that's all there is to it. I feel like life is easy to enjoy right now. I LOVE these two!!

Just A Little Friday Night

Last minute Jett and I got a little steak meal, some salad, our grill and blankets and flashlights and went and picked up dad from work and we had a little evening in the woods. It was a little cold and we ended early. It was still fun to switch it up a little ever once in a while.
